With my cards, I found myself to be on a mission.
 

I conceived of the idea of touching people at a psychological, communicative and creative level, by offering up images and texts on so-called “message postcards”.

 

Sometimes a single word is enough to give someone a boost, and cards can be dispersed far and wide. Cards can be a gift. Word and image would, in this arrangement, reinforce each other!

 

The painted subject determines what text appears on each postcard. Because the combination can never be predetermined, the creation of each postcard makes for an extraordinarily exciting process.
